What does a pallet space in the cold store cost?
That depends on quantity, duration and the services you need — so we quote your case specifically instead of naming flat rates. Send the enquiry and you will have an offer within one working day.
How do you charge for handling and order picking?
Separately from the space and by effort — everything that applies to you is set out in full in the quote.
Is there a minimum quantity or term?
Not on quantity — we rent from a single pallet. The minimum term is one month, then seasonal or open-ended. If you need the space for less, ask us: it can usually be arranged.
How does delivery work?
Deliveries and call-offs are arranged at short notice by phone — usually the same day works. You deliver to our dock or the ground-level access, both suitable for trucks; the A 81 is minutes away. We take over from the ramp.
How cold is it — and can you prove it?
−18 °C, day and night. Temperature is monitored and logged electronically around the clock; on request you receive the record for your storage period.
What happens if a refrigeration unit fails?
Each house is monitored separately. If the temperature drifts, we are alerted around the clock, the refrigeration service is called out, and we let you know straight away.
Are my goods insured while stored?
As is customary in warehousing, insuring the stored goods is the depositor’s responsibility. We secure the cold chain, the records and the operation; briefly check your policy with your insurer.
What goods do you accept?
Frozen food and, by arrangement, frozen non-food goods — delivered at a core temperature of −18 °C or below and labelled per pallet. No dangerous goods. If in doubt, call us — we will tell you honestly what works.
